for all of you out in dublin, i recommend you check out the hard working class heroes festival. now in its eighth year, it has become the city’s largest independent music festival; lasting three days, featuring over one-hundred bands, and showing at over three venues. It starts today and runs through saturday.
two of the acts featured on the show will be performing at the festival:
HAL will be playing the 7 October from 9:30-10:00 at the grand social, you won’t want to miss their comeback performance. based on the tracks we heard, it will be mega!
valerie francis will be playing on the 8 October from 9:30-10:00 at the button factory.
if great surf rock or ambient pop doesn’t strike a chord with you, perhaps you might like bitches with wolves. they haven’t been on the show yet, but they are certainly worth a listen for the discerning dance electronica fan. they are playing the 9 october at grand social 11:30-12:00 and would be a great start to a night on the town.
